I'm Janell Gaudin. For more than fifteen years I've represented Louisiana clinicians, physicians, and practice owners — before licensing boards, across the negotiating table, and through the employment side of running a business. Response and defense before Louisiana licensing boards for LCSWs, counselors, behavior analysts, physicians, and other licensed providers. A board letter is not a formality — early counsel changes outcomes.

Janell Gaudin
I began practicing healthcare and business law more than fifteen years ago. In 2021 — after years of watching workplace bias wear down brilliant women, and with five daughters of my own to raise — I narrowed my practice to representing women.
The work since then has been the most rewarding of my career: negotiating employment contracts for women physicians, defending clinicians before licensing boards, helping counselors and social workers build private practices that hold up, and walking women through starting and growing businesses of their own. I've also sat on the other side of the desk — I served as COO of a large healthcare agency, so I know how these organizations actually run and where their paperwork fails them.
